Eyelid and Orbital Tumors Gallery Patient 121597
This patient presented with an enlarging, crusty, elevated lesion in the inner corner of his left eyelid. Biopsy revealed basal cell carcinoma.
With frozen section control removal of tumor, margins were declared free of cancer. he resulting defect in the inner corner of his left eye was successfully reconstructed with a VY plastic surgery flap to restore eyelid function and to preserve the eye.
