This young woman was born with a congenital condition, called microphthalmos, that caused her to have a very small eye that could not see. She was unhappy with the fact that the condition left her with an unsightly appearance. After being fitted with an artificial eye, her normal appearance was restored and she was happy as her appearance was now natural.
