Botox stops wrinkles caused by overactive muscles. Although Botox stops the process of forming new wrinkles, those wrinkles which are present at rest from repeated expressions that causes loss of collagen ,also known as “sinking wrinkles” such as the parenthesis around the mouth, sagging cheeks, and down-turned mouth corners. These “sinking wrinkles” may also benefit from a facial filler that can replenish the building blocks of skin. Filler softens “sinking wrinkles” by filling in the lines and adding volume.
