I had a sagging eyelid for over 3 years. It had caused issues with both of my eyes as my left was severely drooped and my right eye was overly open. I had a lot of eye irritation and had trouble getting my contacts in, and keeping them in. Dr. Melson did my surgery on my eyelid and I followed all his instructions even taking the Bromelain daily for 2 weeks prior to my surgery. I had minimal siwelling, and after 10 days I went back to wearing my contacts!!  (took me less than a minute to get both of them in my eyes!!). I didn't realize what I couldn't see or do prior to the surgery! My only wish as that I'd been able to do this sooner! Thanks so much Dr. Melson!!

Dr. Mark Melson has performed Ptosis on both of my eyes. I had each eye done on two separate dates. Both times, the staff at both his office and Saint Thomas Surgicare were outstanding and my procedures & recovery could not have gone any smoother. I highly recommend if you have a droopy eyelid to see Dr. Melson. You won't regret it. The symmetry of both of my eyes are amazing! He's highly skilled! If I had a third eye, I'd go back AGAIN!

Dr. Melson performed lid surgery on my eyes and I have been very pleased with my results. Professional, and office staff makes you feel very welcome. Had minimal bruising and healing time. Good follow up by nursing staff also. Very pleased.

Dr. Melson and his staff are wonderful. He explained every step of my surgery. Was very professional and very through. He did an amazing job! I haven't been able to see this well in years. He even went to bat for my with the hospital when they overcharged me. He Is AMAZING!!

If you're a mature person (especially men) and thinking about having eyelid (blepharoplasty) surgery, Dr. Sherman and her staff are the ones to see. Two major results: first, my peripheral vision is much better, and second, my wife and daughters think this made a huge difference in the way I look. DO IT! Dr. Sherman and her staff did a phenomenal job. From my initial consultation until my last appointment, I have never felt more attended to for a medical procedure. Also, a special shout-out to Dr. Sherman's staff, Dana and Christie, for their concern during the weeks following my surgery.
